PRINTIFY EMBROIDERY QUALITY STANDARDS

General

This document serves as a single source of truth for our Print Providers regarding embroidery quality standards. Establishing these standards is critical for evaluating our decorating partners' performance and ensuring consistent product quality that meets our merchants' satisfaction.

List of Requirements

This section outlines the specific requirements that digitizing partners must follow:

a. Match the Artwork and Design Mock-up. Ensure the final embroidery file matches the artwork and design mock-up provided by Printify.

b. Complete coverage. Fully embroider all designated areas on the garment (as specified in the design) with no missing elements, blank spots, or cut-off designs.

c. Designated locations. For caps, embroider the design on the front, back, and sides as specified. For apparel, embroider the design on the front, back, and sleeves according to the Prinitify requirement.

d. Match admin panel values. The final embroidery artwork size must precisely correspond with the dimensions entered in the Admin Panel for that specific product.

e. Exact file size. The artwork should be printed at the exact size it was submitted from Printify. Do not scale or adjust the size.

f. Match the mockup. Follow the offset measurements strictly. The artwork's position should precisely align with the artwork placement showcased in the mockup within the designated print area.

g. No skewing or deformation. The file should not be crooked, skewed, or appear visually different from the mockup due to deformation or digitization misalignment.

h. Alignment with mockup. The artwork's placement cannot deviate significantly from the mockup (too low, high, left, or right) unless explicitly specified in the design

c. Stitch Count Limit

The stitch limit for Apparel, Hats, Patches, and Chest regular embroidery area size is up to 15000. If the design covers a very large part of the embroidery area, it may exceed the maximum limit of 15,000 stitches. In such a case, the digitizing partner should decrease the size of the design to stay within the stitch limit and prepare an Approval sheet.
The stitch limit for large embroidery area sizes will be up to 30000 stitches. If the design covers a very large part of the embroidery area, it may exceed the maximum limit of 30000 stitches. In such a case, the digitizing partner should decrease the size of the design to stay within the stitch limit and prepare an Approval sheet.
