How to create a design with the Printify AI Image Generator
- Pick an item from the Printify Product Catalog and select AI image in the Product Creator.
- Pick a Style for your visual and enter a Text prompt. Be as descriptive as possible and select Enhance prompt for some help.
- Add the generated image to your product and adjust it to your liking. You can also remove the image background.
- Select Save product, enter all of the necessary product information, and publish it to your store.
Note: AI-generated images must not contain any prohibited content or elements that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

How to create a design with the Shutterstock integration
- Pick an item from the Printify Product Catalog and select Paid content in the Product Creator.
- Choose between the Essentials collection and the Full collection.
- Use the search bar to look for images. You can filter the results by photos, vectors, and illustrations.
- Adjust the image’s size and placement, and get a preview of the final product. If everything looks good, select Save product.
- Enter the product description and title, and set a price. Then, select Publish to list the item in your store.
How much do Shutterstock images cost?
Essentials collection design fee: $0.99 per image.
Full collection design fee: 17.5% of the Printify production cost (minimum fee of $1.49 per image).
Note: The design fee is applied every time the product with the selected image is sold. The fee is added to the Printify production cost.
